3 Tips to Manage Peak Processing Season

3 Tips to Manage Peak Processing Season

Peak processing season is upon us in the Northern Hemisphere, where we are back in leaf-on condition and our acquisition teams tend to be less busy.  This can often mean there is a backlog of projects to be processed. The following are some advice to streamline photogrammetric production:

Project Cleanup. Images captured outside the project area and where no mapping is necessary should be eliminated.

Adjusting Overlap and/or Sidelap. Depending on the output mapping deliverables, overlap and adjacent flight lines can be reduced with no effect on the quality or accuracy of the deliverable.

Reviewing AT Results. AT is key in getting good results and should be carefully reviewed before generating any output.
